In this video, I'll show how to fix the error 0xc0000142 in GTA V.
Open the game folder
Select "GTA5"
Right-click "GTA5"
Click on "Properties"
Click on "Compatibility"
Check "Run this program as administrator"
Click on "Apply"
Click on "OK"
12. Scroll down
Select "PlayGTAV"
Right-click "GTAV"
Click on "Properties"
Click on "Compatibility"
Check "Run this program as administrator"
Click on "Apply"
Click on "OK"
Press the WINDOWS key or click on the WINDOWS icon
Write "security"
Click on "Windows Security"
Click on "Virus and threat protection"
In "Virus and threat protection settings", click on "Manage settings"
Scroll down
In "Exclusions", click on "Manage exclusions"
Click on "Add an exclusion"
Select "Folder"
Select the "GTA V" folder
Restart the computer
